On March 12, 2010, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis testified in front of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies regarding the DOL’s FY 2011 budget. As part of her prepared testimony, Solis reiterated the OFCCP’s continuing intention to focus on both individual and systemic discrimination. Individual discrimination topics will include harassment, retaliation, termination, and failure to promote. Solis added that the OFCCP will step up monitoring of self-audit and self-correction as part of its enforcement of Executive Order 11246.
