Fred Azua, Jr., the Regional Director of the OFCCP Southwest and Rocky Mountain Region, has officially retired effective January 2, 2008. His last day in the office is today. Fred built a reputation during his tenure as the Regional Director for his successful enforcement of hiring and testing cases. In fact, a substantial portion of OFCCP’s total settlement dollars came from Fred’s region. Joan Sessoms-Ford, Deputy Regional Director, will fill in as the acting Regional Director until a permanent replacement is named.
