On July 11, 2007, the House Subcommittee on Workforce Protections held a hearing on The Paycheck Fairness Act (H.R. 1338). This bill, which was introduced by Rep. Rose DeLauro (D-CT), now has 224 co-sponsors. Testifying at the hearing was: Dr. Evelyn Murphy, President, WAGE project, Inc., and Resident Scholar with the Women’s Research Center; Joseph Sellers, Partner with Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll; Marcia Greenberger, Co-President, National Women’s Law Center; and Camille A. Olson; Partner with Seyfarth Shaw, who represented the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
