EEOC sent email notifications to employers the week of July 6th, advising that changes have been made to the mailing address, telephone and fax numbers for EEOC. The notification also instructed employers to send all EEO-1 data collection inquiries, questions or concerns to one email address: e1.techassistance@eeoc.gov. The EEO-1 website provides guidance on the type of information to include if you are notifying EEOC of a company contact change, merger, acquisition, or spin-off.

As a reminder, the 2019 filing is delayed until 2021 due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency, as well as a pending information collection request approval. Based on the recent communication, EEOC continues to expect the data collection to open March 2021 and reiterated that a notification will be sent when the precise date is known.
