The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has announced in an email that Samuel Maiden will serve as Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, effective today, March 14, 2022.
Maiden has years of experience with OFCCP. Previously, he served as Director of Regional Operations for the Southeast Region in Atlanta, then left Atlanta to fulfill his role as Deputy Regional Director for the Northeast Region from November 2011 through December 2014. His most recent role with OFCCP was as a Regional Director in 2015 – a position he held through 2020.
Per OFCCP Director Jenny R. Yang’s Director’s Corner, “[Maiden] has served as a highly effective and thoughtful leader who brings vast expertise in successfully identifying and resolving systemic discrimination cases.”
