JUDGE AWARDS MAXIMUM DAMAGES IN EEOC PREGNANCY LAWSUIT

The EEOC announced that a federal district court awarded the maximum damages of $50,000 against a commercial janitorial company in which the company’s owners allegedly reduced the work hours of a worker simply because she was pregnant and then subsequently fired her.
