New Movements at OFCCP as Agency Continues to Show Signs of Life

By Joanna Colosimo

In the year following the revocation of Executive Order 11246, the federal contractor community has been closely watching the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) for signs of what might come next. In the last 12 months, the agency has experienced notable leadership changes, ongoing budget discussions, and shifts in staffing.

In the past week, there have been two major signs of life for the agency.

On January 15, 2026, OFCCP Northeast Regional Director, Diana Sen announced on LinkedIn that she is starting a new position as Deputy Director at OFCCP. The Deputy Director role serves as a second-in-command to the Director of OFCCP, in this case Director Ashley Romanias.

Then, on January 20, 2026, the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations issued a spending bill that allocates $100,976,000 to OFCCP for necessary expenses as a temporary funding measure through the end of the government’s fiscal year on September 30, 2026. This allocation stands in contrast to President Trump’s proposal to significantly reduce the agency’s budget.

DCI will continue to monitor these important developments at OFCCP on behalf of our federal contractor and subcontractor clients and will provide updates as new information becomes available.
