On January 23, 2025, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) issued a statement in response to an Executive Order President Trump issued titled “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity, which includes the revocation of Executive Order 11246

This statement also includes a section with more pointed language indicating OFCCP will no longer “promote diversity,” hold “Federal contractors and subcontractors responsible for taking affirmative action,” or allow or encourage “Federal contractors and subcontractors to engage in workforce balancing based on race, color, sex, sexual preference, religion, or national origin.”

According to the statement, more information will be provided by the agency in the coming weeks.

DCI will continue monitoring developments and provide updates as needed.
