The QQP is part of a strategic plan for fiscal years 3023 to 2016 that was approved in February 2012 (see http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/plan/strategic_plan_12to16.cfm). The EEOC is encouraging participation from a variety of sources, including individuals, employers, advocacy groups, agency stakeholders and other interested parties. The deadline for submission is Friday, March 1, 2013 by 5pm, and may be done via email (strategic.plan@eeoc.gov) or snail mail (to Executive Officer, Office of the Executive Secretariat, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, 131 M Street, NE, Washington, DC 20507), and should be accompanied by an email address.
All submissions will be reviewed, and those selected would themselves, or by a representative, testify before the commission in person, via telephone, or via video teleconferencing. It’s important to note that submissions are considered public domain and may be disclosed to the public. Therefore, the EEOC advises to exclude any information the submitter would not want made public (e.g., home address, telephone number, etc.). Additionally, if sent by email, the submitters email address will automatically appear on the message.
