DCI welcomes Harold M. Busch as Vice President of Government Relations to the DCI Consulting team. Mr. Busch has spent more than 30 years of his professional life enforcing EEO laws and advising companies on how to comply with federal regulations regarding contract compliance and affirmative action.
Prior to Mr. Busch’s retirement in April 2005, he served in the following positions: Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary; Deputy Director; Regional Director; and National Director of Operations; for the U. S. Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
During his more than ten (10) years as a senior executive, almost every major settlement of discrimination by the Agency of $100,000 or more was either personally negotiated by him or approved by him from 1994 through 2002. This included settlements of both compensation and selection discrimination with mostly Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies.
Effective April 3, 2006, Harold M. Busch, Vice President of Government Relations for DCI Consulting, is officially back from the “cold.” The mandatory one-year “cooling off” period for federal senior executives prohibiting their direct contact or representation of clients with their former federal agencies is finally over for Mr. Busch.
He will now be able to work with your company at the table rather than behind the scenes. Mr. Busch is now available with other DCI personnel to fully represent you in all matters with the Department of Labor and other federal agencies, including providing you with expertise in evaluating your AAPs; meeting with government officials; mediation; investigation of complaints; conducting conciliation meetings; steering/contacting the right government officials to move your case or ensure due process; and assisting with many other activities related to your compliance status.
