The OFCCP recently posted two new FAQs confirming that the interpretation, not definition, of “protected veteran” has been broadened to be consistent with the definition used by the Department of Veterans Affairs. As presented in a previous blog, the intent of the infographic was to provide clarification for who would be deemed a protected veteran under the four categories. Specifically, the OFCCP further explains that the “active duty wartime” veteran category was not broadened and that the Department of Veterans Affairs defines it the same way.
