In our first Outreach to Veterans blog, we focused on developing a veteran recruitment strategy that considered resources available to you and how to maximize them. In addition, tips and resources were provided to ramp up your outreach efforts. To complement those efforts and have an additional source for prospective candidates, consider becoming a part of the Operation IMPACT (Injured Military Pursuing Assisted Career Transition) Network of Champions. A recruitment program designed by Northrop Grumman, Operation IMPACT provides career transition support to injured military service members and their family. Transition support includes: resume support, career counseling, workplace accommodations, and training. Furthermore, there are currently over 100 partnering organizations which form the Network of Champions. They serve as a wider network for employment opportunities available to program participants and their family.
Additional Resources for Veteran-focused Initiatives
