OFCCP Releases CSAL for Construction Contractors and Subcontractors

By: Mitchell Chamberlin and Amanda Bowman

On Monday, June 5, 2023, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) published a new Corporate Scheduling Announcement List (CSAL). According to OFCCP’s announcement, this CSAL includes 250 construction contractors, including federal contractors, federally assisted contractors and federally assisted subcontractors.

As DCI has previously written, OFCCP has renewed its focus on construction contractors and has steadily increased the number of construction reviews conducted from 10 in fiscal years (FY) 2019 and 2020 to 111 during 2021.  In its 2021 construction CSAL, OFCCP included 400 construction reviews. The agency did not release a CSAL for construction contractors in FY 2022.

DCI will continue to analyze this CSAL, along with the agency’s published methodology for selecting which construction sites would be included in this CSAL.

Construction contractors should review the new CSAL to determine if they are included in this list. If your organization needs assistance with complying with affirmative action regulations for construction contractors, please visit our resource page or reach out to us at news@dciconsult.com.
