*The EEOC Component 2 collection portal officially closed on February 15th, 2020. The EEOC has stated it doesn't intend to collect Component 2 data in the future because the burden imposed on employers to comply. The links referencing the portal have been removed.
Starting mid-July 2019, EEOC expects to begin collecting EEO-1 Component 2 data. EEO-1 filers should begin preparing to submit Component 2 pay data for calendar years 2017 and 2018 as these filings are due by September 30, 2019. Important dates to note:
- Starting July 1: Employers will start to be notified by EEOC of the Component 2 portal
- Starting July 12: Employers will begin receiving login information
- July 15: Portal Opens
- September 30: 2017-2018 pay data collection is due
