EEOC announced today that the 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 component 1 filing deadline will be delayed until August 23, 2021. The EEO-1 website also reflects this update.
This filing delay comes as many employers face communication and approval delays due to the high number of reported company changes and login information requests.
If employers have not already done so, they should electronically request their login information and report all company changes through the EEO-1 portal.
The EEOC also announced the opening of the 2020 EEO-5 data collection will be July 27, 2021. The 2020 EEO-3 data collection is then scheduled to open in August 2021 and the 2021 EEO-4 data collection in October 2021.
