EEOC Extends EEO-1 Filing Deadline to October 25, 2021

The EEOC announced on Wednesday, August 18th that the filing deadline for 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 reports has been extended to Monday, October 25th, 2021.

The announcement details that there will be no further changes made to the filing deadline and all reports must be certified by this date. This is the second deadline extension announced by the EEOC, citing continuing complications that employers are facing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The EEOC ensures that “all filers will be able to file and no one will be excluded,” but asks for patience as they continue to process requests through the EEO-1 Component 1 Help Desk.

If you need additional assistance with these filings, please refer to the provided EEO-1 FAQs or contact your DCI consultant for further resources.
