EEOC Public Hearing: The Future of EEO-1 Data Collection

EEOC announced earlier this week that they will host a public hearing on the proposed changes to the EEO-1 report. As summarized in a previous blog, EEOC is seeking approval to renew the “Component 1” data collection it has required since 1966, without renewal of the “Component 2” W-2 earnings and hours worked data. The public has until November 12, 2019 to submit comments to the agency.

The public hearing is set for Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to noon ET at agency headquarters, 131 M Street, N.E. Washington, D.C.
