President Joe Biden has overturned the controversial Executive Order 13950: Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping, effective immediately. Biden signed an Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.
In line with this move, the following steps have been taken:
- The OFCCP has rescinded the Frequently Asked Questions for Executive Order 13950.
- The hotline phone number and email address used to report noncompliance with Executive Order 13950 have ceased operation.
- All complaints registered with the hotline or otherwise regarding alleged noncompliance will be formally closed by the OFCCP.
- Provisions requried by Section 4(a) of Executive Order 13950 will not be enforced.
