Maya Raghu Joins OFCCP as Deputy Director for Policy

Maya Raghu has joined the U.S. Department of Labor’s OFCCP as the Deputy Director for Policy, effective July 19th, 2021. 

Ms. Raghu previously served as the Director of Workplace Equality and Senior Counsel at the National Women’s Law Center, where she worked on a range of issues addressing women’s economic security and employment opportunity, including pay equity, pregnancy discrimination and sexual harassment. 

Prior to joining the National Women’s Law Center, Ms. Raghu was a senior attorney at Futures Without Violence and a senior staff attorney at Legal Momentum, where she focused on economic security, gender discrimination, gender-based violence and human trafficking, with an emphasis on immigrant and low-income women. Ms. Raghu’s work during this time included litigation, legislative and policy advocacy, public education, multi-sector initiatives and cross-movement collaboration.
