This Monday, September 14, 2020, a new information collection called the AAP Verification Program Interface, was published in the Federal Register. AAP Verification has been much anticipated since the release of the 2016 GAO Report (and follow-up reports) which recommended it, and Directive 2018-07, which outlined OFCCP’s plan for implementation.
In the Supporting Statement, additional detail regarding the platform interface, use of collected information, and estimated burden is provided. Overall, the goal of the AAP interface is two-fold:
(1) Annual certification of AAP compliance
(2) Electronic submission of documents during OFCCP audits
Comments for the information collection must be submitted to www.regulations.gov by November 13, 2020. Stay tuned for additional information as DCI prepares comments.
