Currently, the deadline for the California Pay Reports is March 31, 2021. Under this new FAQ, employers will be able to seek an “enforcement deferral period” by completing an online request form. The form will be available by February 16, 2021 on the California Pay Reporting website. Given the COVID-19 pandemic and the new data requirements of the pay report, DFEH will give employers through April 30, 2021 if granted such deferral. DFEH details that the request must be completed by the employer and may not be “submitted by a third party on behalf of the employer.”
