It appears that this contact form will replace the standard EEOC “technical assistance” email that contractors have historically used in the past to convey the above information.
If employers need to update contact information, we recommend doing so ASAP rather than waiting until the filing opens in April. This will ensure that EEO-1 filers receive EEOC notifications in preparation for the 2019/2020 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection. Likewise, employers should not delay reporting a merger, acquisition, or spinoff, as EEOC assistance will be required to file and there is often a delay in support.
